4. However, you won't see that figure reported....
on CNN or Fox or any of the regular stations. Can't upset the complacent people, now can we? Disgusting and shameful. The media in this country is equally as guilty as Bush and his minions.

6. Paragraph 23 out of 24
In the Houston Chronicle on Sunday, there was a story about goings on in Iraq, with a title like, "More Unrest in Iraq." The story rambled on for 22 paragraphs about hostages and negotiations to release hostages, and worry about the hostages, and then, in the next-to-last paragraph, a mention that 1 U.S. solder and 4 Marines had been killed, 6 Iraqi police were killed and 5 mortars slammed into the Oil Ministry.

Within 10 minutes of my posting this story on another board, the story was changed, deleting all mention of the dead soldiers. This is why I can't post it here.

I guess it's just old news now. Why should anyone worry their beautiful mind about it?

It is absolutely pathetic how most of the media is acting like a mouthpiece for the government and an apologist for Bush.
