Bush Ridicules Kerry, Calls Him Indecisive
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20040927/ap_on_el_pr/bush

President Bush on Monday labeled rival Sen. John Kerry a political opportunist whose ever-changing positions undercut the Democrat's aspirations to be the nation's leader.

"He probably could spend 90 minutes debating himself," Bush said with a chuckle as he addressed supporters inside a cavernous structure typically used for agriculture shows. The president's remarks came just days before the first debate involving the two candidates.

"You got to be able to speak clearly in order to make this world a more peaceful place," Bush said. "You cannot expect to lead this world if you try to take both sides of every position."

-snip-

"He voted for the use of force in Iraq and then didn't vote to fund the troops, he complained that we're not spending enough money to help reconstruction in Iraq, now he says we're spending too much," Bush said. "He said it was the right decision to go into Iraq, now he calls it the wrong war."

7. People seem to like that "mocking stuff"
It works to evade the issues.

I am nervous about the debates. I will be glad when the first one is over so I can how Kerry does.

But I was worried about his speech at the Convention - and he did really well.

14. The people at Bush rallies have all signed loyalty oaths...
of course they like "that 'mocking stuff'". I don't know what undecided voters think of it, but that's what's important.

16. Sister who likes the tax cuts says they're going too far.
She voted for George, and may again, except she hates the war. There is always hope she will get a broader view and see what the tax cuts are costing her in other areas.

Anyhoo, she commented (I'm paraphrasing)during a pro George/Kerry bashing commercial that it was just too much and it looked like George&Co were overstepping that mode of attack.

4. indecisive
I found that word in the dictionary

It says..(Indeesisiv) Indecisive: "To sit in a Florida classroom for half an hour or more reading the book My Pet Goat, while
hijacked planes hit buildings and doing nothing about it, and looking
dazed, confused, and dumbfounded"

10. actually
It should be "being read the book My Pet Goat by 2nd graders" which is even more pitiful since he wasn't even reading the book, he was just following along.

inane, crappy speeches. I instructed them to begin mentioning Bush's lies and flips. We have got to innundate the media constantly; we must make it uncomfortable for them to favor Bush. Then if they do not stop, we must organize an internet campaign against their advertisers. I, for one, am sick of this garbage. I am in a rage right now about the grey wolves and the grizzlies being removed from the protected list. These people are evil.

23. Maybe Kerry could gain some serious dignity points here
What might that kind of answer look like or has the shelf life expired already?

Some kind of bridge-over-troubled-water remark that ends up ridiculing the lack of decorum/statesmanship of the US pres mocking his opponent?

Is anyone else getting tired of this same-old same-old song??

I'm betting the public might be if this goes on for a month.
