Jeb Bush responds to Carter comments on voting issues
notice that, contrary to Jeb's insinuation, electronic voting was NOT among the issues Carter warned about. If anything, Carter sees electronic voting as a positive development...

http://www.firstcoastnews.com/printfullstory.aspx?storyid=24958

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- Governor Jeb Bush says "conspiracy theories" about the state's voting machines are "constant haranguing of nonsense."

The governor says he's particularly disappointed in former President Jimmy Carter, who said this week that conditions for a fair election in Florida do NOT exist. In Monday's Washington Post, Carter wrote "the disturbing fact is that a repetition of the problems of 2000 now seems likely."

Touchscreen machines were introduced in Florida after the 2000 election, when punch-cards were responsible for delaying the outcome of the race between George Bush and Al Gore. Carter says "some basic international requirements for a fair election are missing in Florida."

Most significantly, Carter says there are NO requirements that a nonpartisan electoral commission or official organize and conduct the electoral process. He says Secretary of State Katherine Harris was "highly partisan" in 2000 and her successor, Glenda Hood, has shown "the same strong bias."

Jeb is part of the mafia to deliver the state.... computer voting has already been demonstrated to have errors in Florida.

It requires Jeb to be accountable to President Carter's standard.

2. The Bush boys really do have comprehension problems, don't they?
Neither seems able to respond to or discuss what someone actually SAYS... only what he THINKS they said. Do you imagine either of them would be able to graduate from high school today, if they had to pass the aptitude tests schools now require?

10. They'd have to be socially promoted to GET to high school...
There was a little item in a NYT in early July entitled "Math Question Stumps Jeb Bush". A student asked him a question from the Fla Comprehensive Assessment Test, "What are the angles on a 3-4-5 triangle?" His guess: "The angles would be--I don't know, 125, 90 and whatever remains on 180?"

Hahahahaha. I don't know what a 3-4-5 triangle is either, they didn't call it that when I was at school, but I know that once you take 125 and 90 away from 180, there's not a whole lot left...

12. More importantly, the reporter didn't bother to correct the message
that Jeb MEANT to give, that this is only about the machines. Nice little redirect from the story of voter suppression that Carter is concerned about.

5. And Tony Soprano says connections to the Esplanade and Councilman
Zellman are also "conspiracy theories" and "nonsense"

Actually, a better real life would be Little Nicky Scarfo and Atlantic Cioty Mayor Mike Mansfield, who had the identical relationship as the fictitutious Zellman/Soprano.

In either case, the arrogant dismissals of criminals regarding their criminal behavior carries no weight with me nor any Free People.

Imperial Subjects of Amerika, though, are likely to be taken in.

11. Jeb Bu$h knows darn well he is actively working on throwing the election
and is lying like the evil conniving republican snake that he is.

Notice that he did not refute, specifically, any of the facts former President Carter mentioned.

Because there is so much factual evidence to prove that Jeb and Glenda the Hood are deliberately committing voter fraud that if this gets full media attention, Jeb and Glenda the Hood are going to be in the forefront of a nationwide scandal.

13. 4 hurricanes not enough to smack some sense into him?
Jeb blocked the use of paper ballot printouts, citing cost concerns and time restrints.

Has he given any thought to what would happen if there were widespread power outages?

32. "I am so disappointed in you for ....." is such a tired old bush line.
Jeb is disappointed in Jimmy Carter.
Barbara Bush was disappointed in Judy Woodruff way back when in 1988 when Woodruff was a real journalist and asked Babs a real question.
Poppy Bush was disappointed in Mary Tillotson during the l988 campaign for asking about his affair with a former staffer.
Jeb bush was disappointed in the Florida press when they asked about a possible link between him and one of the people in his cabinet whose name, or position i cannot recall.

Yeah... whenever the bushes want to cover up their derrieres, they become "disappointed in ....." whatever the situation, whoever the person, whatever the issue.
