1. Democrats Set to Reject Bolton as UN Ambassador

Sen. Barbara Boxer of California said of Bolton "He's been contemptuous of the U.N. There's a lot to talk about at this hearing. It's going to be very contentious." Several groups opposed to Bolton have launched campaigns to urge Republican Lincolon Chafee of Rhode Island to vote against his nomination.
