CNN gives a law-breaker a podium...

Once again, Pat Robertson ... who I will not refer as being a reverend ... was given a podium to spew his lies to millions of Americans. On CNN's Late Edition they asserted through Pat Robertson's beliefs that "President Hugo Chavez the Venezuelan leader poses a nuclear threat to the United States." Why give such a lunatic and lawbreaker a podium after he stated on his '700 Club' broadcast this statement referring to President Chavez: "We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability. We don't need another $200 billion war to get rid of one, you know, strong-arm dictator. It's a whole lot easier to have some of the covert operatives do the job and then get it over with.”

First of all: Why is he still walking free after his death threat made towards President Chavez on what is supposed to be our public airwaves? According to John W. Dean in his article "Was Pat Robertson's Call for Assassination of a Foreign Leader a Crime," Dean cites this: "The Federal Threat Statute: Fines and Prison for Threats to Kidnap or injure: It is a federal felony to use instruments of interstate or foreign commerce to threaten other people. The statute is clear, and simple. Title 18 of the United States Code, Section 875(c), states: "Whoever transmits in interstate or foreign commerce any communication containing any threat to kidnap any person or any threat to kidnap any person or any threat to injure the person of another, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both."

What this basically states is that Pat Robertson broke the law and is not being held accountable for his actions. The American government failed at arresting Pat Robertson! What angers me is that CNN chose to give said lawbreaker a podium to spew his lies. CNN should be ashamed for giving this lawbreaker a podium. We should all, as law-abiding citizens, be angry for them for doing this. James R. Bath, a friend and neighbor, was used to funnel money from Osama bin Laden's brother, Salem bin Laden, to set up George W. Bush in the oil business, according to The Wall Street Journal and other reputable sources.”
I think this warrants an investigation and not an allegation made by a law breaker.
