1. Hastert is "quite ill" ?????
" I have known Denny for almost two decades. He is an exceedingly decent man and a hard worker for conservative Republican values and politics. But we cannot deny the fact that he had a sustained lapse of good judgment. The fact that he reportedly has been quite ill for some time may be an explanation — but not an excuse."

2. Even a broken clock
is right twice a day. But then he goes and ruins it with this insanity: "The fact that Democrats might also cover up such facts is just another reason why I am a Republican. Republicans do stand for sound moral values."

The fact that Dems might have covered it up is why he'll continue to vote for the ones who did cover it up. Anyone else think this is faulty logic? :eyes:

3. Yes, he does go on to suggest that Dems knew and released the ...
... information for political purposes. Nothing like taking a little responsibility here, eh Tony? Still looking for excuses. When will we learn that a Dem was typing the messages for Foley, as he was, er, otherwise occupied??

:sarcasm:
