Probably a pretty unwise move. If anyone is going to flip off the president in front of my kids, it's going to be me.

I'm divided on this issue. It wasn't appropriate in front of the kids, but lean towards giving the driver a warning instead of a termination.

kids are amused by a lot of inappropriate things.

The bus driver is not there to amuse, nor to push the boundaries of appropriateness. Her employers were right to discipline her for her behavior, though as I have already stated, I believe they went too far.
