No memorial for airman slain in Iraq(due to Fred Phelps and gang)

The family of an Air Force technical sergeant who was killed in Iraq won't be holding a memorial ceremony in South Florida because they want to avoid anti-military protesters.

Marcia Fenster, whose son, Timothy Weiner, died Jan. 7 near Baghdad while investigating a bomb in a vehicle, said she considered a local public gathering but will instead attend a private ceremony for him in Colorado, where he is to be buried.


"We don't want to be a forum for any dissident group that uses these solemn events to be disrespectful," said Fenster, who lives in Lauderhill. "We could not bear the thought of that happening."

Fenster and her family said they are avoiding members of the Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kan., who have protested at funerals for soldiers killed in Iraq. They carry signs saying the deaths are God's way of punishing America for tolerating homosexuality.

Fred Phelps has convinced me that there is a God.

If there is a God that can create incredible people like Princess Diana, Mother Theresa and Martin Luther King, there is certainly a Satan on the other side creating pure evil in the shape of Adolf Hitler, Michael "Savage", and Fred Phelps.
