Barack Obama is a member of Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ. Its minister, and Obama's spiritual adviser, is the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. In 1982, the church launched Trumpet Newsmagazine; Wright's daughters serve as publisher and executive editor. Every year, the magazine makes awards in various categories. Last year, it gave the Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. Trumpeter Award to a man it said "truly epitomized greatness." That man is Louis Farrakhan.

2. I got this ridiculous forward from an evangelical friend...

that sourced Snopes.com about all the garbage attributed to this Church...and to Obama's being based in Muslim thinking......anyhelp would be appreciated, in sabotaging this..such as what to add to any forward of this type. Also, about his not putting his hand over his heart during the pledge (not everyone does) etc. etc.

5. Things like this will hurt Obama if he's the Dem candidate. He can distance himself but he took an

oath to support the Trinity United Church of Christ.

If he claims he didn't know about such problems, then his judgment is in question. :shrug:
