Russia Calls Israel's and the White House's Bluff
Iran is the target of a relentless propaganda campaign to depict it as a lawless, terrorist state fanatically trying to produce an atomic bomb. This is big time BS meant to prime the pump for a brutal attack on yet another sovereign state. Meanwhile, Russia is saying, "Where's the beef?"

::::::::

The Israeli and the United States Governments, both with powerful nuclear arsenals and self-righteous pretensions to have the right to attack anyone anywhere over perceived threats to "National Security", have made it clear that they want to attack Iran on the grounds that Iran is a serious nuclear and regional threat.

Meanwhile, Iran has never even invaded anybody in its entire modern history, its supreme leader continues to issues Fatwas against the use of nuclear weapons, and the IAEA has yet to find any evidence of a viable nuclear weapons program. On top of that, America's own intelligence agencies recently said as much too, that there is no evidence of an active nuclear weapons program.

So, since Israel and the White House have no real proof to support an attack on Iran, they have had to leap into that chapter right out of Hitler's Mein Kampf, the one that expounds upon telling the Big Lie, constantly, endlessly, until the masses or more or less hypnotised into believing it to be true. This is an attitude, of course, of profound contempt toward the everyday citizens of America, Europe and Israel, that is, you and I, whom these students of Fascist methodology consider complete imbeciles and puppets on strings, who can be manipulated to believe what they want.

Russia, however, is not about to swallow any of this, and as AP reporter Vladimir Isachenkov wrote on Friday June 20:

Russia's foreign minister on Friday warned against the use of force on Iran, saying there is no proof it is trying to build nuclear weapons.

Sergey Lavrov said Iran should be engaged in dialogue and encouraged to cooperate with the U.N. nuclear monitoring agency. (source)

Lavrov went on to say something that is powerful proof that everything Olmert, Bush and Cheney has been saying is utter propaganda:

Lavrov said Russia had asked both the United States and Israel to provide factual information to back their claims that Iran was working to build atomic weapons. “So far we have seen none, and the same conclusion was made by the International Atomic Energy Agency,” he said.

“It's absolutely not right to speak matter-of-factly that Iran continues building nuclear weapons,” Lavrov added. (source)

2. Its too bad this story will never appear in the U.S. media...
Most of the people I know still watch the local and national news/entertainment. It is pathetic and uninformative.

3. THANK YOU Purveyor, K & R, Made my month with this !
Finally someone spoke truth. This foolish shell game that Bush and his neocon buddies have been playing out over the last year is getting shut down by the big dog Putin (doesn't matter that he's not President) and Dr. Xi(China) with his million man army. What Bush, Cheney, Wolfowitz,Rice and the neocon crowd set out to do--exploit and dominate world oil production has failed. The speculation with oil prices is a run-up before the US and its friends in the oil business are forced to retreat. We all know that Iran is not building nuclear weapons--and as reported on the BBC, the Saudi Royals told Cheney this during a visit in 2008. So why beat the war drums here at home? Its all for show and the need to ride out this presidency without "impeachment" being put back on the table. Heard much from Cheney or Wolfie lately? This war is O-V-A-H and the oil fields will be under our control about the same time that the Mississippi fails to flow. NEVAH. We are screwed economically, politically and militarily. And yes, bless you Purveyor for stating something that even the MSM has overlooked. No Iran strike.

Russia wil never let their new friends in Iran be attached by US.. And if one single Russian are been killed by the US air force, or by Israeli air force, everything Russia could possible give away to Iran would be given. Even if the credit was close, and Iran was in deep problems.. And I would be sure that russian "advices" from the red army, air force and naval forces would be send to Iran to help defend them against the US aggression... And the US should respect their counterpart in the naval forces, air force and in the red army.. They have some pretty good head there.. And if they just had more hour in their fighters, it would be interesting to se if their new SU and Mig fighter would give the US some interesting times ahead... Because the Russian fighter fabrics have not been sleeping the last 15 year, they have just not had the money to build it in nursery numbers..

And then we do have The People's Republic of China. Who also have great interest in Iran. And who have one of the biggest existing army in the world.. Guess what would happen if Iran was to ask for some help... 100.000 chinese in Iran by a week.. ANd then the really war could start...

And then we have what Iran can do itself, blow up american transport lines in the dessert of Iraq. To let their "kinds" in South of Iraq attack US forces at will.. And so on and so on.. For a long time ago I was reading something what could happen if US was to attack Iran, and what the response from Iran would be. It was not a pretty look when the finale was up... It can spell the disaster for every one single american soldiers who are in Iraq.. And maybe even for the US forces at an whole... The total breakdown of command could be the result at if US was to attack Iran

5. WOW! Even with Bad English this is pretty Amazing
I'd buy the book Diclotican. Couple of question for you or Purveyor. Did the US overplay its hand in the Middle East or was this attack of Iraq some sort of an elaborate counter intelligence setup by the Chinese or Russia? Also do you think the EU will ultimately step in as the peacekeeping force in Iraq? Will the US be forced to retreat altogether from Iraq and close the planned for Embassy? Will the US be forced by world courts to release so called "insurgency" prisoners inside and outside of Iraq? Thanks.

Thank you;). I belive indeed that USS overplay its hand in the middle east, when it come to war with Iraq.. But I am not that sure about your theory of counter intelligence setup by the Chinese or Russia.. But I would not be to sure, becouse at least Russia have allways wanted to give US back from Afghanistan.... One of the main reason that The red army had to leave the country was the suport from the US..

I would not be suprised if EU was to replace US as some peacekeeping force in Iraq when the US forces either leave volentary, or by force. US have for years now working hard to get EU involved in the whole case, and even that that many country have steped around the case with some grace, it would not be suprising if EU have to clean up the mess when US are running for their life out of Iraq. It would not be an nice look when the US are walking out of Iraq.. And I would guess that the bloodloost is not there for a generation or two if US was to loose Iraq.. Even if the main stream media was to blockade all information from the outside, and play it as now was Iraq ready to stand their own ground against the rest of the world. The information to the american public that US lost the war in Iraq, would come to hunt the republican party for a very long time..

The US embassy, and the bases they are "so wanted" to have in Iraq would most possible be out of the questing if US was to loose Iraq. If they are lucky enough US maybe managed to take their belongings with them before they have to leave.. But if it goes as in Saigon South Vietnam in 1975... Then the rooftops of the US embassy would be the place where they have to flee... And the running from the rooftops in Baghdad, would be a hewy symbol for the symbol of losing the war...

When the come to the so called "insurgency" prisoners outside Iraq, it is to this day a shame that US are not been forced to let every one of them either into the US prison system, where they could get a fail trail, or back to their own country of origin. And for every day "insurgences" have to stay in some hellhole of a prison the US are losing one more friends.. Or maybe allied to.. And in the middle east they never forget, and just forgive after a long, long time... The arabic world are not as in the south asian world...

But, it would not be the last time US have been forced by the world courts to following international law then.. In 1987 the US was convicted of war crimes.. But the man in the case was already in the US, and have never sit an day in prison for his crime.. And the list goes on and on.. It is few country who have been convicted when it come to breaking international law. The US have...
And if everything and nothing are true about the misuse of prisoner in US camps worldwide is true.. Then it is just time to se when the first case against represent-ants for the current US administration would be send to the Hague - if they ever wanted to travel to Europe after they was out of office.. Mr Rumfeld was just minutes away from being arrested by the police... And we know the names of the rest of the Mob organisation... And when they come, after the Bush administration is finish, they cant hide behind "diplomatic immunity" longer... And then the "fun" would start..
