USA Today, OPINION: Palin pick highlights Clinton's importance to Obama

Just when it seemed Hillary Clinton had been pushed to the back bench of the presidential campaign, she's being asked to step up her appearances on behalf of Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama. The request came in the wake of presidential candidate John McCain's announcement Friday that he had chosen Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate on the GOP ticket.

I think HRC would make a hell of a Sec of State. If he announced this position for her NOW that would counter the MCCain Palin thing and win back those 18 MIL women.

3. Not So fast!

If he puts it out there now that he has some high ranking position for Hillary..dems will look really desperate? The women that left because of the Hillary thing may have left for a different reason. Weren't the platforms between Obama and Hillary basically the same? So if they just wanted a woman they have one now.
