2. Seriously, this is a guy who understands the Shock Doctrine

and understands it can work two ways. The Republican answer to every problem is lower taxes, school vouchers, and privatizing.

But the Shock Doctrine opens the door to ANY policy, not just those 3 Republican chestnuts. We have a genuine shock going on, and Obama has an opportunity, for the first time since 1980 to greet that shock with something other than the 3 standard republican answers.

We have needed a government that would invest in its own people. That's what his public works program does.

Payback is a bitch.
