Obama to Take Aim At Credit Card Abuses.
'Officials are scheduled to meet on Thursday at the White House with top executives of credit card companies.

The meeting comes as lawmakers in the Democratic-led Congress have vented anger that banks with big credit card operations charging high interest rates and fees are the same institutions getting government bailouts from U.S. taxpayers who use these credit cards.

The House of Representatives and Senate are considering a credit card "bill of rights" that would limit the ability of credit card companies to raise interest rates on existing balances and require greater disclosure of terms.'

2. If Obama is serious, he will ask congress to repeal the "Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer
Protection Act" passed under Bush.

5. That's for sure!
One of the worst pieces of legislation of all times. Designed to perpetrate wage slavery across vast swaths of American workers and to play a major role in the righties' plan to destroy the middle class!

3. Why do they need to meet with those a__holes?
Everything they need to know about their abuses of consumers is out there. Makes it sound like they have to negotiate or something with that bunch of thieves. I'm getting pretty damn weary of the deference the administration pays to these people!
