82 Year Old Black Farmer Arrested On Terroristic Threatening Charges
Right as we speak, our farm land is being stolen; black farmers are driven off the land, Native American farmers are dispossessed, family farmers of all ethnic groups are even arrested for refusing to lie down and disappear.

Every now and then, the main stream press rises from its self-imposed slumber and does a "story", then falls asleep. We can not let this story die, or let our people be driven insane or killed. Keep the story alive.

2. I can imagine that phone conversation -
"You shouldn't be doing this! You can't look good to the public - you are stealing an old man's land, a man who is being terrorized by racist thugs! This is going to blow up in your faces!"

Aha! A terroristic threat!

3. One major problem in the South is that many of the D of A posts were given as patronage
by the white powerbrokers at the state and county level. Especially in the rural areas of the south there is still a strong bias against black farmers by the right-wing types who hold power.

This incident is a disgrace and should be investigated with the full force of the Justice Department.

16. Thanks for the link. I agree that it's bad. And, it appears that the liberal justices were
the ones who sealed the deal.

11. Kelo was a horrendous court decision that allows the use of eminent domain not...
from private property to the government/public, but from one private owner to another. *shudder*

“Terroristic Threatening Law is being Abused” in the south and other parts of the country, how would you like this on your record, police and judges don’t care. You can get in a squabble with your friend and say I will like to punch your face, that is what they are saying is terroristic threatening to get a higher fine, bond and jail sentence.
