Trust, Don't Verify: Bush's Incredible Definition of Credibility

1. It ASTOUNDS me that he continues to claim he's "credibile" based...

... simply on the fact that he followed through on the threat to kick Saddam's butt.

Especially because his primary justification for the war, that Saddam had WMDs (a claim he's STILL making: "he refused to disarm"), so blatantly flies in the face of the facts.

It is as though words mean nothing, and only actions count. Even if the words used to justify that action are completely and totally false.

This action, in fact, is the most serious mark AGAINST his credibility, and why fewer and fewer trust him every day. His words leading up to this war, his main reasons given for this war, have all been shown to be incredible.
