1. The story is huge

but the boat looks so small. :-)

Never underestimate a man who has friends - I think Mr Applegate, in spite of having to live on Social Security. is a very rich guy!

2. The human spirit is an amazing thing.

But I thought the boat was a bit big. A nice 35 footer would do the job just as well and it would be much easier to handle.
I wish him the best.
It's stories like this that renew my faith in the individual.
