President Obama's speech to schools: Viewer comments

Yesterday, I uploaded a video of President Obama's speech to school children to Youtube.

By the time I returned from a dinner party last night, I had 160 messages in my in box that were comments from people who viewed the speech on Youtube. The user names were removed to protect their privacy:

"Great speech!

"Now that's an enthusiastic assembly

"Does he really have nothing better to do? I'm a student and this speech didn't motivate me at all. I hear this all the time from my teachers. I mean really. It's just a bit ridiculous.

"Thanks for uploading, Bathswife. Do you have Pt. 1?

"Great speech!!I dunno what the fuzz is all about regarding this speech..If it was me I'd be greatful our president is speaking to our children. There's nothing more motivational than your president speaking to you directly to do better!

"theres nothin wrong with this. There was nothin wrong when bush did it in 1991, but remember, the democrats held congressional hearings after bush did it. Its all partisan.

"Great Speech!! Makes me wonder what all the Hype was about. I believe George Bush senior addressed the school age kids several years ago. The media is very good at jumping to negative conclusions before receiving all the facts. Where can I find Pt. 1?

"Very inspirational speech. They didn't show it in my daughter's classroom because of the paranoid frenzy that ridiculous parents got in.....a frenzy which was no doubt inflamed by right wing media biggots. I'm guess I'm going to have to show it to her myself, which I would do that whether I supported Obama politically or not, becaue I care more about my daughter than I do my politics, which is obviously more than many parents on the right can say.

"This speech was amazing. They didn't show it at my school because we are in the middle of far-right territory and a lot of kids were talking about Obama turning kids into communists and stuff.
