You have to endure a 30 second ad first.

Much, much worse than we've been led to believe.

3. OMG! MUST SEE!
Unfreakingbelievable!

WTF is going on with the EPA? NOW they're saying the disperant is ok and doing a lot of good, but don't use so much of it? WHAT is WRONG with this statement? I'm guessing this is a lame attempt to save face after being dissed by BP.

PS: the ad is gone.

K&R

4. Convinces me that BP put out the dispersants just to hide the damage from most observers..

not to do any good ...for the water or those creatures that live in it.

The only motive here was CYA!!! Plain simple.

I still want all their assets seized... $93,000,000 A DAY OF PROFIT!!!

and all the corporate decision makers sent to Gitmo... IMMEDIATELY

HOW IS THIS NOT TERRORISM????????????

5. Yep. One big PR deception.
Get the oil under the surface, where it can't be seen.

I think we've finally found a legitimate use for Gitmo.

The motherfuckers! I live on the Gulf. We don't have any oil...yet. But, I'm sure we will have, by the time they get it plugged. But, by then the Gulf will be dead.

6. Even if they got the flow to totally stop tomorrow, the damage is already beyond repair.
Marine life in and around the Gulf and the businesses that depend on it are already destroyed....or will be shortly.

I'm glad he outed them and their dispersants. Those are only going to make matters much worse. BP has only been making it worse from day one.

9. EPA Defends Use Of Controversial Chemical Corexit

5/25/10 EPA Defends Use Of Controversial Chemical Corexit

Tuesday, the head of the EPA defended the decision to allow BP to continue using a potentially toxic oil dispersant to minimize damage to Gulf coastlines after the Deepwater Horizon disaster off Louisiana.

In an interview with NPR, Lisa Jackson said the Environmental Protection Agency had ordered well operator BP to stop using Corexit 9500, but later agreed to let the company use a reduced amount because no suitable alternative is available.

There seemed to be much more about this yesterday, but the emphasis today is about watching the live webcam when BP attempts to kill off the well.

10. It's banned in Britain, there are NO DOCUMENTS anywhere that support it as a safe
product that does not come directly from BP. The crap may very well be worse than the oil for the environment, but since the EPA is staffed by former industry execs and lobbyists it's no wonder they've approved it after having been bullied by BP. Apparently BP has ultimate authority over the US government.
