It’s Not Iraq
Bush’s political problem is on the domestic side.

Recent poll data show President Bush running behind John Kerry. Although the spread is not large, some liberals are saying that this proves the failure of Bush's Iraq policy. I don't agree. His political problem is on the domestic side, not in Iraq.

almost word for word. And he still likes to get his chops in at us demonized 'liberals'.

Instead, Sen. Kerry has mainly attacked President Bush for starting the war in the first place. Moreover, his principal line of attack is not that the administration lied about WMDs, as many on the left-wing fringe believe, but only that it did not have international support, a weak criticism given the disdain most Americans have for the United Nations, the French, and other foreign critics of everything we ever do.

Now if that isn't one of the weakest rationales I have ever heard..."given the disdain most Americans have for the United Nations, the French, and other foreign critics of everything we ever do."

Really... that's news to me. Most people I know believe in global cooperation, not isolationism. And other countries only get pissed off at us when we try and screw them over.:eyes:

2. Both
Bush and his minions have painted themselves, not into a corner, but the center of a giant bulls eye.

4. I do not see a problem for Bush from this sector.
Conservatives will continue to support Bush no matter how much Bush deviates from their principled for they are no more principled than he is. End the end, neither Bush nor his followers will change for they believe in the absolute truthfulness of their path; therefore, do not have to adhere to principles. It all boils down to the acceptance that "the end justifies the means".
