World majority oppose Bush
A FRENCH opinion poll found that 84% of French people and 51% of the American people hope that Bush will lose the November presidential election.
<snip>

It is tempting to imagine what would have happened if the more moderate Al Gore had been president.

It is even possible that September 11 might not have happened since the Clinton administration was actively pursuing Bin Laden unlike the Bush administration that was obsessed with unfinished business in Iraq.
<snip>

The vast majority of the global population, like the French, hope that Bush will not be re-elected. John Kerry should hammer home the point in his political campaigning that a fundamental shift in American foreign policy is needed if the global image of the United States is not to be permanently tarnished.

1. Well, hopefully the combined karmic "wishes" of the world
will be Bush's* undoing.....

3. News Flash: Al Gore is the President. But, he was usurped!
The only positive thing I can think of that came out of this mess was DU. It was born early in 2001. And, I believe I remember Skinner once saying that he would rather have had Al Gore sitting in the White House...than DU.

But, honestly, what would we all have done without DU?

:D

4. This is comforting, but the last I heard only....
...American citizens will be able to vote in this November's election. That is everywhere but Florida, where the president's brother is busy purging legitimate voter registration files and placing Deibold company hackers on the state's payroll to gerry-rig all of the touch-screen voting machines. As Jeb was overheard to say recently, "...f*ck the world's 6 billion potential voters, we will again have my brother's election decided right here in the freeper state of Florida."

Editorials is excellent - about 1 days worth of worthwhile links per page, and very few duplicate threads.

I think this is the first web page I've ever seen from Uganda. It's good to see a view from less-heard-from countries (though 1 is hardly a good sample, I admit).

Oops: this was meant to be a reply to post #7 moaning about the move to Editorials. Sorry.
