Can you stop a weasel with a pitchfork?
From our friend "Field".

Can you stop a weasel with a pitchfork?

Dec 6 2010

I swear, every time I see that little weasel, Mitch McConnell, I want to take a pitch fork to his dome. (I am speaking metaphorically so save your damn e-mails.) I love you Claire McCaskill, let's raise our pitchforks together. These wingnuts can try to spin this tax brake for wealthy folks anyway they want to, it's still a tax break for folks who don't need it, and it will cost us money, damn it! I thought that they wanted to reduce the deficit.

And now, to add insult to injury, "the One" has decided to go ahead and cut a deal with the weasels of Washington. Wingnuts are crying a river, and they claim that raising taxes during tough times for any A-merry-can would be wrong. Bulls^%t! Not raising taxes for high end wage earners will cost us more than the extended unemployment benefits and the payroll tax cuts combined. His O ness wanted those things in his little deal with the devils. Not enough! -BTW, I am writing this as someone who would be hurt more than many of you reading this by these cuts, so I come to this debate from a position of moral rectitude.-

3. Folks, take a good look at the cartoon, the people are at the wrong place
We need to take up our pitchforks alright but aiming them at the White House is misdirected. We should be storming the walls of the mansions owned by CEOs and the moneyed classes (our masters). Tear down their walls and haul them off to jail. That is the only option for the poor and the middle class.

As you all know, our center-right Republican President (who we all thought was a Democrat) has just gave a $700 Billion tax cut to the people who destroyed our economy and caused all of the economic pain that WE are suffering from right now. The rich aren't losing their only home, losing their jobs, going bankrupt, draining out their savings, etc. We are suffering the consequences of the greed and stupidity of the wealthy.

How many more years will the working people of America have to carry the dead weight of the wealthy on our backs? What do they provide that a government focused on the betterment of the people couldn't do? Nothing at all. When you count all that they drain from our economy, from which we get zero benefit back, they are a net loss of Trillions of Dollars each year to our economy. So, why do we need the rich? Why do we look the other way on the topic of their crimes? Why do they get away with lying, cheating old ladies out of their life savings, committing fraud on almost a daily basis, and all the crimes that they blame on others: insurance companies deny life saving coverage to thousands of people a year yet we don't call their CEOs and board of directors murderers.

Take your pithforks and storm the walls of the rich. Take them off their lofty perches, their golden thrones, and put them in jail --where they belong!
