Operation Payback is Officially a Failure - But Why?
Operation Payback is pretty much an official failure. As an insider to the "operation," I discuss why it failed and why Julian Assange would be ashamed of these guys.

2. If you want to succeed, use boycotts. 31% of Americans support Wikileaks. So...
how much damage can you accomplish with 100 million people?

3. How is achieving their objective a failure?
They never intended to crash any site permanently, instead they gave publicity and support as needed. Sounds like a success to me.

4. Operation Payback made it into the news cycle.
You made your point. Your voices were heard.

I think that's an achievement.

Now take a break, regroup and wait for the next turning point when you're needed to speak on behalf of the underdog.

5. Who deemed it a failure? Who is this John Danz, Jr.?
Edited on Mon Dec-13-10 03:55 PM by fatbuckel

John Danz, Jr.

John Danz Jr is a serious writer with a penchant for poetry and building a foundation in every form of writing. He is motivated by a never-ending thirst for informed knowledge and the feeling of accomplishment that comes with every completed poem or story.

A drummer drawn to classic and modern rock/metal music, John is deeply interested in meteorology, psychology, sociology and philosophy. Weather has always fascinated him, he wants to know why people do what they do, understand the cultures of the world, reflect on great minds and gain a better understanding of this world and our place in it.
