A Counterweight Emerges (TomPaine.commonsense)
Edited on Mon Jun-21-04 10:43 PM by Supormom
Sergei Blagov
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. In case you believe the Bush and Bush-lite rhetoric that the biggest global issue is terrorism, think again. The neo-cons used 9/11 as cover to advance their grand strategy of domination, based on military transformation and global redeployment. That's the biggest global issue. Segei Blagov reports on an emerging strategic club in Eurasia, backed by billions of dollars of Chinese and Russian investment—and a few thousand Russian nuclear warheads. Action, reaction.

1. I believe this was inevitable...
...there will eventually be a bipolar or multipolar power structure. Even the Roman Empire didn't last forever unchallenged. And eventually every empire stretches too far.

Iraq may be our "Teutoburgerwald".
