Will the 2012 Political Campaign be the Most Violent in This Countries History?
GUEST BLOGGER: Donald W. Tucker, Former Secret Service Agent

America is entering into a political season that will probably have the candidates slugging it out for this Office, with no holds barred. The 2012 election will be like no previous political encounter because of the current climate of vitiosity, hate and anger exhibited by the different political factions and their followers. This country has never witnessed such prejudiced hostility and animosity being generated in the name of political ideology in the last two years.. Congressmen being spit on, Californian Republican politician sending out pictures of the President depicting his mother and Dad as older chimpanzees holding a baby with the Presidents face, as a baby Chimp. This only feeds into the weaknesses of people who will believe anything if it strengthens their hatred towards a person who is different them. How about the congressman who yelled “YOU LIE”, during the Presidents State of the Union speech. In the History of this Country, that has never happened before and probably will never happen again. Of course, the congressman tried to dial it back and give a lame apology. In my 30+ years of Law Enforcement I have witnessed racism first hand and know from experience what racial hatred looks like. In my auto-bio, The Two Edged Sword, I described one of my many experiences dealing with this subject matter.

2. Well, the other side has already killed a sitting President, and a Senator running for President
...so you can't put anything past them, really

3. It will have to go some to out do 1968
but I suppose it could happen, but '68 didn't happen in a vacuum. Many events contributed to that year and the demographics were much different.

4. Oh hell yes
And the worst violence will not be left vs right, but here in Florida is where the Tea party (under Rick Scott) is having a fight with the old GOP (under Jeb Bush). The results will not be pretty, especially if Marco Rubio abandons the tea Party for that run with Jeb. There will be blood in streets of Tampa.

5. The campaign, the election, or the aftermath?

If the aftermath, it will take quite a bit to outdo the election of 1860 -- but it could happen.
