For Amanda Knox, freedom comes at hefty cost
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2011/10/05/earlyshow/main20115856.shtml

Profitable Prosecution, it's the same whether you're a college Junior in a foreign land or some one else with a bag of weed in your pocket.
If given the opportunity, the powers that be will shake you down and even if you prove your innocence, it'll cost you all the same!
Glad Amanda is free, who'll be the next to be shaken down by the court system, whether it's here, or there or anywhere.

3. And she's not guilty!
Some prosecutors should be thrown in jail and have to pay for all court expenses.

10. Yes...
...she was freed on Appeal AFTER being convicted.

An appeal acquittal does not mean you were never convicted.

Either way - your reply was well past douche.

12. Give it up. You can't argue with someone who thinks mass media headlines trump facts.
The big bold headline told me so, so it MUST be true. It MUST! It MUST!

7. The point, you missed it. Prosecutors too eager and Law Enforcement too quick to arrest.
That's the problem. However, those arrest records, even if based on falsehoods and over estimations, is what brings the tax dollar.
That's why certain people get re-elected and stay in power and others get promotions and fancier uniforms.
BTW, how many of those folks who sold a bag of weed and got sent to prison came back out of crime school much more violent and with a chip on their shoulder? You're missing my point, either case is based on a rush to arrest then convict because it profits the system.

6. What nonsense...
The person who raped and murdered the victim is in jail.

The rest of the event was persecution by a corrupt and mentally ill prosecutor.
