1. Great story!
Thanks for posting.

"They raised over $15,000 in five days, only to have the school administration freeze the funds from the Student Government Association’s account 24 hours before the scheduled trip because of a paperwork technicality and alleged concern for the students’ safety. The students then raised thousands of additional dollars from students, faculty and supporters in a single day, enabling them to make the trip."

3. well thank you
The community and the local churches really step up for this kids. The Alumni association was dropping off checks at the office for them. I'm really glad they participated and they all learned so much.

5. I live in Lexington...
but visit Berea often, great artisan craft center...I encourage all to visit this very quaint town. The college is academically quite good and provides an amazing service providing educations for those who cannot afford it.

So inspiring to see these young people take up the cause of human dignity.

Check out this link for the Berea Arts Festival...http://new.bereacraftfestival.com/newest/

7. Berea is great
Berea is a cool little town with lots of support for craftsmen and artists, in addition to being home to a FREE University. On the Crafts fair link, click on "Music" and check out the third pic. Thats me playing the bass!
