"AFP - While Republicans are trying to keep Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry on the ropes for alleged flip-flops on Iraq, his position has in fact been largely consistent with a couple of exceptions."
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&u=/afp/20040813/ts_alt_afp/us_vote_iraq_kerryFor the most part a positive look at Kerry's war record. Positive in the sense that he's not been a "waffler" or "flip-flopper."
If you want Kerry to be an anti-war dove, then not so positive.
One thing they didn't mention, that no one mentions, is that the charge that Kerry voted "against body armor for our troops" when he voted against the $87 supplemental is malicious spin. He voted against allocating that money from U.S. funds, but wanted it to take the form of a loan. Bush would have VETOED that measure had it passed.
