Want to know which of your neighbors is putting their money behind Bush or Kerry?

Just go to www.fundrace.org, type in your address, and you'll get a list of your neighbors who've given money to federal candidates. The Web site uses special mapping technology to tell you which donors are closest to your address.

The data come from the Federal Election Commission, which requires all federal campaigns to list the name, address, occupation and amount of every donation more than $200 for all contributors. The FEC Web site, www.fec.gov, also makes the data available, but it's a lot clunkier than fundrace and doesn't have the mapping technology.

1. Interesting to put in famous names and see where they gave too

I showed this site to my room mate and we are having a ball putting in celebrity names and politicians names and seeing just what they donated.

For example, Donald Trump hedged his bet -- $2000 to Bush and $2000 to Kerry.

Look up your favorite people and see who they really are!
