Crashing the Party: Famed Indian Writer Arundhati Roy Goes Inside the RNC
ARUNDHATI ROY: I actually don't know what to say, because it's like being in a cult place where there's some kind of chanting which veering between chilling and calming. I'm confused which it was, but I’m sure it was actually chilling to be in a place which is where the richest and the most powerful people in the world meet to plot the next war to plan the next bombing and war. They look like everybody else, you know? It's not exactly like -- it's hard to believe even the psychology of how so many people can cheer while the same lies are being reiterated.

1. It's chilling. I remember once going to an evangelistic church event
with my grandma, it was the scariest thing to me as a young girl. People swaying and chanting, as if in a trance state. Gyrating bodies speaking in gibberish, chaos and confusion, those religious groups are a very chilling disturbing bunch of loonies. I'm sure the RNC is similar.

2. This Article
Is a bit more chilling. It is a look at the USA from outside.
Very, very chilling in her analysis and forecast.

3. Wow!
It's good to keep up on how other people around the world are seeing us. These are the people I relate to and the world they yearn for is the world I want to be a part of.

The Republicans and those like them around the world repulse me so strongly I don't know if I can take it anymore. I feel like I'm sick down to my soul all the time now. They're just blindly evil. This interview reminded me there are gentle, beautiful people in the world.

4. The Banality Of Evil.....

"John Kerry unfortunately too much for me is a bit of a wimp. I wouldn't feel secure with a commander in chief who is like, I don't like war."

OMFG......
