investigation. Why is that?" My comment: And we still haven't investigated 911 - which happened 2 years ago.

3. In fairness, O'Neil has not been investigated.
It was only yesterday that Treasury decided to investigate. I haven't seen anything to make me think they have even started yet.

6. No! It took 70 days before they even moved to start an investigation
70 days to get to the point they are now at with O'Neill.

7. I think if you check the record it took 70 days for an special prosector
to be announced. That doesn't mean there was no investigation before then.

14. it's about the level of interest
When it's damaging to Bush, there's zero interest, when it has retaliation value against Bush critics they're all over it.

It took 70+ days before they announced that there would be ANY investigation...The special prosecutor was only just announced recently. July: Novak prints article outing Plame Sept: An investigation is announced Dec: Ashcroft recuses and Fitz is appointed

4. Why is that? Betrayal of the nation versus "betrayal" of bush
That thin-skinned arrogant waste of oxygen thinks no one, but no one, should ever reveal his hubris-infested policies.

15. that doesn't necessarily mean that he got it
from this guy...I am sure there are a dozen possible people who have said similar things... Accusing him of verbal plagarism is a pretty serious charge.

13. Josh Marshall's take on this is great.
Number of days between Novak column outing Valerie Plame and announcement of investigation: 74 days. Number of days between O'Neill 60 Minutes interview and announcement of investigation: 1 day. Having the administration reveal itself as a gaggle of hypocritcal goons... Priceless!
