1. I'm not so sure

I kinda liked the line "... it {intending to mean 'freedom', but in a linguistic sense, actually meaning tyranny} shall rise again".

EDIT: I'm an idiot: I used square brackets instead of squiggly ones, knowing that square brackets are used for HTML...

BUT, I'm still a bit perturbed by:

"weapons of mass destruction-related program activities"

which is a far cry from GAAAAAAA GET OUT THE DUCTTAPE AND THE PLASTIC SHEETS AND KISS YOUR ASS GOODBYE THE TURR'STS ARE COMIN' FER YER FREEDOM AND THEY HAVE HUNDREDS OF TONS OF VX GAS THAT THEY GOT FROM THAT SADDAM FELLER.

What I want to know is does this count as a weapons of mass destruction-related activity?

3. When outlining his hugely critical policy on reducing steroid use among
athletes, he said:

"The use of performance-enhancing drugs like steroids in baseball, football, and other sports is dangerous, and it sends the wrong message -- that there are shortcuts to accomplishment, and that performance is more important than character."

My husband and I both laughed till we had tears in our eyes. The whole statement coming from this man's mouth is so ironic. He has never concerned himself with the how his drug use and the lies to cover it up serve as a poor example nor does he seem to ever have a problem with his own using of shortcuts to accomplishment. Well, as for performance and character, it speaks for itself.

5. Didn't he go out and campaign for a steroid-filled body builder
out in California somewhere?

4. Another corker....
With ever present biblical overtones:

"What Congress gives, Congress should not take away."

Whoever wrote that line should be publically flogged.
