BBV & San Diego - Upcoming talk
This appeared on my San Diego for Clark mailing list. While yes, there is going to be a presentation about Clark, the second part of the announcement is of importance to all voters and Democrats in San Diego County - the SD Registrar of Voter's decision to use Diebold machines in San Diego elections.

Subject: Support Clark Speakers and Hear About Voting Machines

This Saturday the 24th the SD Democratic Women's Club will feature two events.

The first is a presentation of Clark the candidate by Kevin and Lynn O'Neill and Ann Bauer. Please come and support these grassrooters.

Following them, the Registrar of Voters will present San Diego's case for the reliability of the Diebold voting machines. They will be used on March 2 for the California primary that Clark must win. The machines are quite controversial. Expect a barn-burner of a meeting.

The meeting begins at 10 AM.
Location: Community Room, City Heights Branch Library,
3795 Fairmount Ave, south of University.

1. Hey, Jim March!
Any chance you can pop down and annoy these people?

3. Dunno about Jim
But I'm going to try to be there with some of the California Secretary of State's comments on Diebold. (of course, any other ammo would help.) However, I just got informed a friend up in LA is in the hospital, and I may have to help his partner her children tomorrow rather than be at the SD meeting.

Any other San Diego DU's want to come in and throw some random numbers into the Registrar of Voter's defense of Diebold??

4. There need to be some lawyers there
County officials broke state law in buying those machines.
