Proof - Get rid of Bush Tax Cuts = end of deficits
We all know how bad Bush's tax scheme has been, but now we have easy to put to proof that if you get rid of them, you will get rid of the deficit.

On Monday the Congressional Budget Office released their numbers concerning future deficits. This is what they said:

Deficit projections: 2003, $375 billion (actual — highest ever); 2004, $477 billion; 2005, $362 billion; 2006, $269 billion; 2007, $267 billion; 2008, $278 billion; 2009, $268 billion; 2010, $261 billion; 2011, $162 billion; 2012, $24 billion; 2013, $16 billion; 2014, $13 billion surplus.

from http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20040126/ap_on_go_co/deficits_numbers_1

The thing to look at is the numbers from 2005-2010. They all stay about the same, $270 billion. Then 2011 comes around and there is a big drop. An even bigger drop follows this in 2012. By 2014, we are in the black again.

Now what happens in 2010? Oh, all Bush's tax cuts expire. So next time anyone suggest keeping Bush's tax scheme permanent, just ask them why they hate surpluses so much.

One more note, these numbers do not include any future wars or trips to the moon (or beyond).
