Poll: Big jump in the number saying the country is on the "Wrong Track"
http://www.pollingreport.com/right.htm

NBC News/Wall Street Journal Poll conducted by the polling organizations of Peter Hart (D) and Robert Teeter (R). July 26-28, 2003. N=1,007 adults nationwide. MoE ± 3.1.

Between April and this month, those who responded that the country was on the "wrong track" jumped from 22% to 44%.

April was the last time a majority of respondents thought the country was heading in the right direction -- 62%. In the latest poll, that figure has dropped to 42%.

Looks as though the public is finally opening up their eyes.

1. People getting wise to the fact
People are getting wise to the fact that Boosh does not have solutions, just tired platitudes and empty rhetoric.

2. And no matter how much the media hypes it as "good" news for the U.S...
...the killing of Saddam's sons doesn't improve the lives of any Americans.

The rally `round the flag syndrome can only go so far, when, in the day-to-day lives of average citizens, more and more folks are out of a job, parents are seeing the cost of college tuition skyrocket, and seniors living on their interest income are suffering as their income dwindles.

And in the meantime, all of us are watching the death toll of U.S. soldiers grow larger by the day.

Sounds like the "wrong track" to me.
