Is Poindexter the missing link?
Edited on Thu Jul-31-03 05:09 PM by Dover
Is there any connection between the DARPA futures trading program and the trades made just prior to the 9/11 terrorism attack? SOME PEOPLE KNEW about that attack and traded accordingly. Why isn't anyone making this connection and resurrecting that story for investigation? Last I heard no one had yet claimed the money made on those trades...which looks VERY suspicious.

Maybe that's why they are so anxious to get this story (and Poindexter) behind them and out of the press. Is Poindexter a link to that could prove "prior knowledge" of the terrorist attacks on 9/11?
The two incidences certainly point to the same mindset behind them....trading on terror.

I wonder who broke the DARPA story? Maybe someone IS opening up the links to the 9/11 trading story.

1. You Pose A Very Interesting Question That Deserves Attention.
Very intersting indeed.

It certainly has the closest resemblance of what happened before 9/11 with the high volume trading which has still never been addressed.

Poindexter was a real question mark with me from the beginning anyway as to why the Bush Administration would bring this known criminal back into their fold.

What was he doing prior to 9/11?

9/11 Trading & Poindexter.

2. Re: bringing him back into the fold
Some military type was once asked why he allowed a certain person to remain in a high position.
He replied "I would rather have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside the tent pissing in."

That betting parlor could just as well have been placed in the Middle East with "investors" there placing wagers on the outcome of US elections, plane crashes, and "suicides."

In the previous Republican administration Dummy Quayle "protected" Poppy.
In this one, Junior "protects" Cheney.

Read 'em and don't sleep. These boys know how to play their cards.

3. A little more
I knew that there were unusual spikes of activity in shorting contracts on the two airlines involved in 9-11, a week or ten days before it happened. And, there was apparently a CIA connection.

But, this tidbit had eluded me. This is an old article, but I had never seen it:

Data recovery experts later looking at 32 hard drives salvaged from the 9/11 attacks discover a surge in credit card transactions from the WTC in the hours before and during the attacks. Unusually large sums of money were rushed through computers even as the disaster unfolded. Investigators say, "There is a suspicion that some people had advance knowledge of the approximate time of the plane crashes in order to move out amounts exceeding $100 million. They thought that the records of their transactions could not be traced after the main frames were destroyed."

PIRMASENS, Germany - German computer experts are working round the clock to unlock the truth behind an unexplained surge in financial transactions made just before two hijacked planes crashed into New York's World Trade Center on September 11

5. I don't really understand this, Zan
Is he saying that charges were made against people's credit cards by people inside the WTC? Or that there was some sort of credit card fraud done at the time of the attacks, and the computers the charges went through were at the WTC? Or something else? Can't wrap my mind around it.

6. Interesting. Thanks for the links.....hadn't seen it.
I don't know how one would go about investigating this...where to start. Maybe someone will get anxious for their winnings and do something stupid like withdraw them from one of the accounts in question.
