What the heck are Republicans after? RE: Pennsylvania

Anybody else here live in the WilkesBarre/Scranton area of PA?

I saw a Republican attack add.... directed at Rick Santorum! The content said something like:

"70% of Rick Santorums Senate voting record coincided with that of John Kerry. It's time to tell Rick Santorum he is TOO LIBERAL! Paid for by the campaign for (insert Nazi here)."

Does this make any sense at all? Is anyone else seeing stuff like this in thier local area?

It just freaks me out to think that the people in this area might buy the line that Santorum is too liberal and vote someone to the right of ... to the right of goddamned Santorum (FFS) into office.

I can't wait till the Kerry bashers use the 70% figure, the same way they have saying he votes with Bush 70% of the time, forgetting that about 70% of Senate votes are unanimous anyway...
