Here is a little idea I sent to the Kerry campaign.
I think it is about time that Sen. Kerry directly dispute all the lies and misrepresentations the President and GOP are spreading in the media. He needs to meet these head on and make it an obvious issue the American public cannot ignore.
I would suggest that Sen. Kerry take 10-20 minutes out of his extremely busy schedule a couple times a week, and hold a Truth Conference with the press. The first part of the agenda should be to repeat the lies being told about him and refuting them with the truth. If someone says something bad about him that is true, he should stand up like a man and admit that he did or said something wrong. The last part of the conference should be devoted to exposing the lies and misrepresentations the President and the GOP are telling about the administration. At the end, Sen. Kerry should tell the reporters that he will continue to repeat each and every one of these facts until the President or his campaign admit to them and set the record straight. He should also thank the President for any lies he admits to. This may sound a little tedious, but the attention span of most Americans is less than 3 days. If an issue isn't repeated it is immediately forgotten.
The point of this exercise is truth. The result is reminding the American public that the President has not been honest with them. We need a President we can trust, and Sen. Kerry needs to convince them on a regular basis that he is that man.
The Kerry campaign has started this website
