3. Unemployment numbers don't mean anything.
It does not accurately reflect the truth behind the job market. I have been looking for work for a while and there are less and less jobs in the paper every week. Yet, today the Oregon state unemployment people said that our States unemployment went from 7.7 last month to 7.1 this month, and the twit on the news said that it appears that the recession is over.

Oh how I wish that it were true. I look for work every day and there is nothing in that damn paper worth a hill of beans for employment, and this is in Oregons most populace city, Portland.

I am the baromoter for the truth behind the economy and I can tell you that the economy is in a depression, and if it wasn't for the left over gains of the Clinton economy this country would have long ago formed massive soup lines.

your situation is more than common.

Lower unemployment figures are attributed to the expiration of benefits. Repugs cannot bring themselves to extend those benefits.

He's almost done. I have called before on the Talliaferro show years ago and John Rothman was filling in. it took hours to get on. I write bernie a lot and hope that he reads it on the air.

7. Tonight was a great show.
Since Bush has been in office i have mainly been unemployed to at times under-employed. During Clintons last six years i went up in wages and never hurt for work.

I have gone from 60+k a year to lucky if i can make 20k. In 2003 i made 10,000 dollars. I CAN NOT AFFORD FOUR MORE YEARS OF THIS SHIT!!

I am up waiting for my local paper(the Oregonian) to update their on line job search pages, that happens around 1:30am.

9. Thanks bro.
Jeezus, 45 months?! That sucks. Though, realistically for me it's been about the same. I really don't consider temp agency work to be a real job that provides for a decent quality of life.

hang in there. It is so imperative that we get rid of this do nothing bumbling president. If he gets re-elected, i may be forced inot homelessness. I was that way during his fathers administration. That's what twelve years of Reagan/bush did for me.

This moron will accomplish that in half the time.
