Manuel Miranda (Memo Gate) counsel to Frist on C-Span spinning his way
Edited on Tue Mar-16-04 10:02 AM by KoKo01
out of blame for the thousands of memo's he read that were gotten by illegally accessing the Democrats files on a Server in Frist's office.

He's lying his way out of any responsiblility for "theft" saying that he did this for the good of of the process. He said it's all overblown and that he won't be prosecuted for doing this "service."

He's now saying he is totally honorable and did it because he believes the Democrats have a "hand and glove" relationship with "special interests." He says the "Republicans keep their distance from Special Interests." Can you believe this POS Repug!!! :grr:

He says he's filed a "complaint against Kennedy and Durbin" because it's evident that there's more "evidence of Democratic wrongdoing in other memos that he didn't have access to." He's suing them for "negligence for not taking care of their server." (Is he for real???, the Dems didn't know their server was insecure, but it's their fault the memos were stolen because they "should" have known?)

He's lying and lying and lying. Is anyone listening to this guy worming his way out of what was "stealing" saying he was noble and honorable for doing this. As if he had discovered the "Pentagon Papers" or something.

Almost all the C-Span callers support him! That's even worse! He's rehabilitating himself right there for all folks to see and he should be sitting in jail, because this is like Watergate to me. A break in.

Sheesh! I had to turn it off, I couldn't stand listening to the lies and spin. I hope Kennedy and Durbin don't back down on this. This is exactly what the Repugs are about. They turn their criminal actions around and blame what they've done on someone else! And, they've been successful. This cannot go on!

he's got the lying script down pat though. Like all Republican crooks in the past. He did not do anything--blames the Democrats--says server was public server--He just resigned because no support from Hatch or some other flimsy excuse. He is the typical neo con I suspect. We should not interpret the Constitution--it is unconstitutional to filibuster--it has never been done before and the Democrats used it four times last year. President Bush wants to appoint judges who will uphold the consitutution. He is trashing Democrats something awful

Yup, callers are sparse on the Democrat side.
