1. Funny how they don't give a country-by-country breakdown

2. Another funny thing-- the poll is not on the CNN-Japan web page

And the headline on the Japanese page is "Two clergymen taken to court for performing gay weddings"

3. This is one reason why I don't believe CNN polls

The poll was not available on the Japanese site. Since most native Japanese would prefer the Japanese site, they would not have had a chance to express their opinion about their government's involvement. Thus, the responses would have mostly reflected the views of people who were probably not even from Asia.
