Condi in the breeze?
Unless I've missed something, it seems like the WH is leaving Condi to twist in the breeze concerning the revelations in Clark's book.

No other administration spokespersons have been out there except for the weak disclaimer by one of the WH info officers yesterday.

It's wierd. I expected a full-frontal assault on Clark todya by all the administration biggies.....

Is Condi being set up to take a fall on this one?

3. True it seems.
Condi-sleeza was defintely a little out of sorts this morning on Today, which is unusual for the old iron head. Hmmm.

But then again, they always have Chris Matthews.

6. I don't think so either.
The WH may be going for the "minimize the response to minimize the issue" tactic. This only works with the assistance of the mainstream media -- let's hope they don't play into it and actually force some accountability. Yeah, right.

for being the cherrished...she's been demoted. If Chimpy keeps sending his people out to be hung he's gonna run out of staff.

7. But, she is the "unsticker"
I will never forget that quote about her. Didn't we have our worst month casualty-wise in Iraq a few months after she took over?

9. Kerry should call for her resignation and Rummy's.
But Bush might beat him to it. Somebody's head has got to roll!

10. I knew she was crazy when in the 2000 campaign...
...she continued to talk about the continuing threat from Russia! And then, lo and behold, Rich Clarke says they had been preserved in amber from the Cold War days! Now I know I wasn't crazy!

11. As a black woman in a republican
administration - she had to know that she would be expendable at some point. I've always thought that they didn't respect her - she's been a token - always referred to as "Condi," not Ms. Rice. They'll never come to her defense - never, never, never! And, she should've known.

13. No Shit. They sold out JC Watts, and Powell. Why did she think
she was different.

Buhwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

While she had our admiration for a while for being a powerful black woman...not any more. She sold out and now she IS out.

I can't wait to see how she tries to worm back into the Black community. While we thought she could run for national office specifically on the Black vote I don't think she'll get any Black support now. To me, she's a wolf in sheep's clothing. She'll nevah be a Sistah to me again. She'll always be one of Bush Co's sell out. Once she started to beat up on Colin she lost me.
