Condi Rice, the signs of a liar in the act

While Condi ignored the nation's most important commission's plea to testify under oath, she hit the talk show circuit harder than anyone that had to sell a book. I saw the rapid speech, fidgeting, change in voice, and the "exaggerated version of the sincere, furrowed-brow look", but then again she almost always has this look when i see her. ;)

3. Yes, and a BAD liar

Just look at the tape in April of '02 when she was pushed forward to be the flak for the "Bush knew" flap. She was crying, her voice was quivering and she was a wreck. Even water-carriers like Bill Schneider giving her "play of the week" couldn't hide the obvious.

People can sense this, too, and one of the greatest strengths we have is the inherent tone-deafness of the current monarchists. She's a despicable liar, and in the end, a truly sad and lonely person. All her life, she's overachieved to quelch the lie that she's actually a mediocre intellect. All of her accomplishments, degrees and other prominence was done to get the approval she so deeply needs, and in the end, she'll be reviled, dismissed and truly alone. It's sad, and she will be a deeply pathethic sight if she lives to a rotten old age. Somehow I have pity for her, even though she's wrought much destruction and death on the world.

There are people among this mob who truly ARE intelligent (Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz) but many are simply overrated mediocrities (Powell, Rice and Perle) and at least one who's an outright sub-90 embarrassment (Junior, of course, the most powerful nobody since Louis XVI). Vanity is a dangerous thing.

4. Condi is perhaps one of the worst liars I have ever seen

I understand 100% why she doesn't want to testify- she won't be able to handle it!

5. Both Condi and Scott memorize their script in advance so they are only

acting a part. The Daily Show had a great segment a couple of nights ago playing the two side by side giving press briefings. What they said was identical word for word as if they were reading the same script. So the liar is the one who writes the scripts for them aka KKKarl Rove.
