I believe he's simply going to be a step in the right direction. The economy is so bad off that 4 years won't be enough to give it a happy face, but it would definitely improve under Kerry.

Then hopefully Kerry gets re-elected so he can spend his 2nd term working on getting us back to Clintonian prosperity, only the challenge this time to not have the luxury of a dot com boom (or bust) to help make or break it.
