more evidence Bush used 9/11 as excuse for Iraq attack
Edited on Fri Mar-26-04 09:21 AM by EdGy
this is from an article on terrorism that appeared in early October 2001 in the New Yorker.

WHAT TERRORISTS WANT
by NICHOLAS LEMANN
Is there a better way to defeat Al Qaeda?
Issue of 2001-10-29

In it the author interviews Kenneth Adelman, who is very close to the Bush White House.

Here's one cite from Adelman:

It is virtually impossible to wipe out terrorist groups, but, by God, you can wipe out countries that support terrorism. There are two countries that are not easy picking, but not tough—Afghanistan and Iraq. I have no evidence that Iraq was involved in nine-eleven, but I feel it.

There is just SO much evidence out there that these guys hijacked 9/11 for their already pre-determined agenda.

1. bush needed to comply with orders from the energy task force
Take the oil fields by force if necessary and secure no bid contracts for halliburton. Sure can't say that in SOTUA, and cheney has locked down that tie breaking vote on the supreme court to ensure his little secret remains so. Strike fear in the hearts of America about 9/11, lie about WMD and carry out orders. It must really suck being a republican.

3. exactly... that's the problem
these guys are not making policy based on intelligence (in either sense of the word), nor on any facts.

They are driven purely by ideology, by gut instinct, by beliefs that are void of any supporting evidence.

That is why their policies have been unmitigated disasters, that is why Al Qaeda needs to have Bush stay in office after November.

Put them all under oath!
