Tragedy in Gatesville

This event happened within 25 miles of here. Tragic,
touching and insightful.

Hello Everyone.

I just wanted to pass this information along to each of you
so you know what a truly compassionate and caring man we have in
President Bush.
My first cousin, Shawn, and his wife, Suzanne, and
daughter, Laramie, lost their 6 year old son, Sam, in a drowning accident this
past Saturday (March 6th), outside Gatesville. They all live within a few
miles of the President's place in Crawford TX.

Sam and a young friend of his were walking around a tank when
the mud gave way and Sam fell in the tank. The tank is a spring fed tank,
and Sam was sucked under the water into a "sink hole" where the spring
came into the tank. His little friend tried to get him out but was unable to reach
him, so he ran about 200 yards to his house and told his grandmother. The
grandmother called 911 then went to the tank, but was unable to even
see Sam.

Sam's father and a volunteer fireman arrived first and began
diving into the tank but were unable to locate Sam (I believe they said
the water was about 10 feet deep). The Deputy Sheriff that received the
911 call was at the entrance to President Bush's ranch when the call
came in.
He told the Secret Service agents at the gate what was
happening and they, in turn, radioed the ranch house. President Bush
told them to "Go - take all the men and equipment you need and just go".
He also sent his personal physician and his helicopter over to the tank.

Sam was finally located and pulled from the water by one of
the Secret Service agents (I believe there were 5 agents there all total).
There was a faint pulse but they could not revive little Sam. President
Bush's doctor began working on him and they loaded him into the
Presidential helicopter and took him to Hillcrest Hospital in Waco.
The doctors there worked on him for awhile, but he had been under
water for 45 minutes, so there was really no hope for his recovery.
And, had he survived, he would never have been the same.

Sam was truly a unique little boy who lived life to the
fullest. And he loved the fact that "George Bush, the President" had
chosen to live so close to his house. When the family went to the
funeral home in Gatesville on Sunday to make the arrangements,
they were told everything had been paid for by an anonymous donor.
After much "detective" work, it is believed that President Bush is that
anonymous donor.

I just wanted all of you to hear this story so you know what a
true gentleman our President is. And I ask that you pray for my family as
they deal with this tragedy. And, lastly, please pray for our country and
President Bush as he attempts to hold it all in place.

Don't ever forget to tell everyone close to you and possibly,
some of those not so close, how much you love them. Tell them everyday
because life is short and very unpredictable.

I love each of you.

I called the Gatesville Messenger to verify the story. It is true that the little boy died as described in the story, but the rest of the story is completely false. (Gatesville is near Crawford.) The family's grief has been deeply exacerbated by the abuse of their son's tragic death. They have had been having to deal with explaining away something this trivial in their time of grief.

These people will stop at nothing. Using the tragic death of a precious child to promote a political agenda. How vile can these people get?

1. There are no limits.
It's painfully obvious we haven't seen the worst of these yet. As the campaign carries on, and their boy gets more and more bruised and battered, we will no doubt hear of miracles of water changing into wine attributed to the moron from Crawford.

4. That was quick!
I thought it took longer than three weeks. Snopes is such a great site. I should have saved myself the quarter and looked there first.

6. Let's call it push-n-pull tactics....
First they'll push poll to manipulate public opinion, then they'll pull on people's heartstrings to further their cause, hoping that the vast majority of the intended recipients of the message will believe every word. Isn't it nice to know our side has enough cold, hard facts to blow their BS completely out of the water, provided we get the message out in just the right way? I hope we don't screw up.

7. "Sucked under the water into a sink hole where the
spring came into the tank"? WTF?!? Anyone who has ever swum in a spring-fed sink hole knows that the water pressure pushing out of the spring is too great to swim into, much less fall into. Give me a break.

8. PUKE
The very reason this lie was created was to cover up the very fact that he is NOT compassionate or caring, or any of the positive attributes given him in this piece of dreck... :puke:

These phony chain mails exist only as ugly propaganda to cover up what is blatantly apparent for anyone with a slice of brain to see - Bush is a vile piece of festering pus-laden scab juice.

10. "...it is BELIEVED" that Bush was the anynomous donor???
If this were true, the Bush's media lapdogs would be shouting it from the rooftops!

:headbang:
rocknation

P.S. As long as we've touched on the subject, is it true that Dennis Rodman paid the expenses of the family of that man who was dragged to death in Texas?

11. Didn't need Snopes for this one...
I mean, EVERYBODY knows that if Saint Boosh* had been involved, he would have just LAID HANDS upon the poor boy and, like Lazarus, he'd be running around good as new IMMEDIATELY! YAY-YUH! :eyes:

(How does mud "give way?")

14. Yes, these Bushevik Monsters will violated any memory of any person
They will lie repeatedly without conscience or remorse.

They are so much like the Business Partners of Grandpa Prescott Bush sans the violence and overt racism.

But brace yourselves. If these monsters retain control by hook or by crook, it may yet happen.

15. what a load of shit
President Bush
told them to "Go - take all the men and equipment you need and just go".
He also sent his personal physician and his helicopter over to the tank.

Like they would leave him, ESPECIALLY when there is a somewhat chaotic situation down the road.

Besides, he was probably drunk.

16. and even if that part were true ...
Re: Bush sending his own staff over to help the neighbors -- isn't that what you would expect from any person? For Bush's supporters to make such a big deal of it implies that they thought he (or anybody else in his position) would withhold assistance. They are setting the bar pretty low!

People should be rushing to acknowledge the funeral home, for having that long-standing policy of not charging expenses when a child has died. The credit for the good deed belongs to them and not to the White House.
