Government Censors Google News PHXnews.com
Edited on Fri Mar-26-04 10:42 AM by raysr
Today, as of 12:30PM MT, after scores of visits by the EEOC to read the investigative report located at http://www.rollovermartin.com GOOGLE NEWS NO LONGER HAS THE STORY IN ITS SEARCH RESULTS.

Search "EEOC", or "WCOO" or "Federal Felonies EEOC" or “Federal Felonies WCOO" and NO RESULT EXISTS for the story GOOGLE NEWS distributed in its News Alert service on March 24, 2004.

Search the title "INVESTIGATION Proves Federal Felonies By EEOC" as provided by GOOGLE NEWS in the GOOGLE search engine and the result is: "Your search - "INVESTIGATION Proves Federal Felonies By EEOC" - did not match any documents."

Search the title "INVESTIGATION Proves Federal Felonies By EEOC" as provided by GOOGLE NEWS in the GOOGLE NEWS PAGE and the result is: "Your search - "INVESTIGATION Proves Federal Felonies By EEOC" - did not match any documents."

HOW IS GOOGLE under the control of the Federal Government?

4. Spooks on board at Google

Matt Cutts, a software engineer at Google since January 2000, used to work for the National Security Agency and has a top-secret clearance. Google would like to hire more like him. Can you trust Google with a database of all the search terms you've ever used?

I confirmed your above concern, google does inded return no results.

I did a search "EEOC COVERUP phx news" at dogpile.com and found the following:

1. Correspondences - News By the People For People
... GOVERNMENT CENSORS GOOGLE NEWS PHXNews.Com Listing IN EEOC COVERUP. Phoenix, AZ (March 25, 2004): Yesterday, March 24, ...
http://www.correspondences.org/

It would appear that PNAC includes manipulation of the Internet.

Suprised? - No

Worried?

Feckin right!

8. moveon.org problems
If I recall correctly, I believe that Moveon.org has had problems advertising on Google. If I don't recall correctly, then it is some other kindred, democratically oriented organization that I receive frequent emails from, and which recently informed me of being unable to adverstise on google. Perhaps it was the Union of Concerned Scientists . . . Whoever it is, unfortunately I deleted the recent email they sent me regarding this problem advertising on Google.

In any case, the organization that emailed me about their problem stated that Google had responded to their surprise at being rejected by saying that they didn't usually accept such "hate oriented" matter for advertisements!!!

Naturally, this is absurd!

But thanks for this added confirmation regarding Google's recent spate of weirdness-es. It is good to be reminded of how embedded in our popular culture than these weird "overcontroller" freaks can be sometimes (though I wouldn't want to make us overly wary or suspicious either.). It is conceivable that Google may have fallen into a state of insanity from a previously higher level of mind. In any case, let's hope that whatever the reason, whether chronic or not, that they emerge into the effulgent sunlight of love, truth, and beauty, without being mushy or affected, regardless of where they may be currently!

(Personally, I've never particularly liked Google's search engine anyway, and have always been perplexed at how some people rave about it. Alta Vista's has been my personal favorite for almost ten years -- since I've been on the net. But of course, everyone is different . . . hahaha!)

9. You're full of it.
Sorry, but this phxnews thing and "rollovermartin.com" shouldn't be sources for Google News in the first place. If they *were* listed, it was by mistake. All of this is still accessible from google proper (i.e. not the news section) and if you'd have seen that if you'd have taken the time. Furthermore, lots of software development houses hire people with high security clearances. All that means is that they do contract work for the government. Google sells search servers, in addition to running their web site.
Perhaps the concept of "google news" isn't clear to you. It links to NEWS sites, not anti-google gibberish, which is the *only* content on those sites you linked. (ok, actually phxnews had some other various psychotic gibberish which still isn't of any use to... um... anyone.)

If any wanker could set up a web site and get whatever rantage they wanted posted on google news, it would quickly become useless.

Original post was either a vanity post or was uninformed. I suggest we put this to bed.
