4. Yes and No
I'm sure the admin. would love to silence Clarke, however, Clarke cannot be intimidated by these scumbags.

Clarke has been a major player in intel for 30 years under Reagan, Bush I, Clinton and Bush II. You don't have a resume like that without making some serious connections and friends. There are people who have Clarke's back, I'm sure, who are very powerful, very dangerous and are known only to people like Clarke.

Furthermore, now that it's so public, if something happened, it would be TOO obvious.

Any threats made by the admin. against Clarke, can easily be made against the admin. by Clarke's friends who could also just as easily carry them out.

8. The only thing that helps keep him alive
is how obvious it would be for him to be "disappeared".

11. Problem is, it's not just Bush. Bush is just the "poodle" for PNAC's
.
.
.

plan.

Gawwd, ya don't think that the wizards behind PNAC (and Junior sure ain't one of them) want an INTELLIGENT pResident? An ex-druggie with a dubious past is very "manageable"

Heck, Bush is just their pawn, a tiny glimmer of the REAL evil lurking in the WH. GeeDubya' absence would be a plus, and I do hope The Democrats manage to get in the WH, but

I fear for our future either way . .

(sigh)
