Wes Clark at the Unity Dinner Last Night?
Hey everybody,
I thought that unity dinner last night was awesome but I have a question... General Clark's name was mentioned by President Clinton and Senator Kerry when they mentioned other candidates (Clinton even called him "his good friend of 37 years") but I didn't see him at the dinner. Was he there? I couldn't tell from the reporting this morning in the papers because most of the images of the hand clasp were cropped.

Was he there? If so, why so little coverage?

-Mike

3. I found a Yahoo picture of the whole lineup
It was so "wide" that all the figures looked so tiny you couldn't recognize them.
Gephardt was on the left (if you were in the audience looking at the stage0, with Clark next to him. Sort of a funny angle, so it was hard to see him...

5. Thanks...
for clearing up whether he was there or not... I figured he was because of his status, and because he was mentioned by name alongside other candidates but I just wasn't sure since I didn't see him in the picture... it seemed like other former Presidential candidates got more face-time and quotes...

but it's all good... It was Senator Kerry's night...

6. you could tell it was crowded when they did the hand clasps
you could tell they were crowded when they did the thing where they join hands and raise them and they weren't able to raise their hands all the way up.

4. yes, i wish they did more camera shots of them
but i assume they didn't because they were probably walking around and talking to others as many others were doing so camera couldn't always find them.
