Just In!!!--Bush Wants to Change the Agenda!!
Happy Days are here again!! Just reported on MSNBC as they finished hashing the Clarke business again.....White House correspondent said Bush was heading to (who the hell knows)and wants to change the agenda because of all this Clarke stuff to "the economy". BRING IT ON!! We got him right where we want him!! Beautiful---he's afraid to run on his war/terrorism thing right now and wants to distance himself from it. Kerry should now talk about Iraq and his plans for terrorism, etc. Bush just got baited into a debate (economy) that he didn't want to go near. Oh, and barf bag alert: Kerry will speak at 12:30 they said--and Bush will speak at 12:35 (these bastards are pathetic). Both are making a speech on the economy (guess their strategy now is to just not let Kerry get his message out).

1. Since Bush's is much tighter than Kerry's, Kerry should hold off up
And speak AFTER Bush.

I doubt the WH can respond to a sudden change like that.

2. Let's not change the subject.
I'm not through talking about 9/11 yet, and the economy will still be there when we get around to it later.

Sorry, Mr. President. snark snark.

3. LMAO!!!
Damn... they are conceding the "terra" issue already? This is FANTASTIC... the bush-it spin on his Economy will not work - no way, no how. If there is one thing that they can't pull the wool over people's eyes about, it is their pocketbooks.

4. This is just like the final moves in a good chess game
Fortunately the Bush team has no idea how to play such a complex game. I think we have them checked and we're one or two moves away from checkmate. We certainly have their king on the run.

6. When I saw the "time" thing I thought that John should step up to
the mike, say 'excuse me but I have to go take a dump--be back soon--oh, and media folks, why don't you entertain the country with Pres. Bush's speech while I'm gone which should be starting about 'now'.

8. Ha! My dream scenario is during the debates. The mod asks Kerry a

question and he says, "I'll answer that question in a moment. But before that, could you please request that president bush stop farting? It's really getting bad up here...it smells like stale pretzels and beer. It could gag a maggot!"

10. More like what rasslin did a few years back - The Host of WCW announced
that the other "competing" (and taped, but presented as "live") show was coming on. (Actually, announced the result of the taped "main event" match the WWF/WWE was using as its main event, but that's not relevent).

Anyhoo, Kerry should start the speech with "The coverage will cut over to Bush in 4 minutes 50 seconds". Then at 12:34, he should look at his watch and start a countdown.

7. The once and future bushite campaign themes:
They were going to campaign on his credibility -- that wont work anymore.

They were going to campaign on his "leadership" following 9/11 -- not after this week they can't.

They were going to campaign on his "tough on terrorism" record -- see above.

Now they are going to try to campaign on the economy? -- (snark).

At this rate, by September, the only thing the bushites will be able to do will be to start saying nice things about John Kerry because nobody will believe anything they say.

And, at this point, they aren't finding any.

But don't count them out. As Clinton said yesterday, they are very good at this game.

home ownership, did he include the foreclosures? An informed citizen wants to know.

No, no, it's all roses and songs -

He's sill blabbering away, I'm surprised I don't see a thread "Bush on CNN now" - and yup - it's "live"

Did you know that you "lay" a roof, then swithched to "tiles" - does he realize that "tiles" are for septic systems?

Obviously he doesn't have a teleprompter today

He's fumbling all over the place, can't wait to see a transcript!

14. We've got him on the ropes
Now it's time to start letting the haymakers rip.

Go ahead George, change the debate to your economic record.

Where should we start?

The 2.2 million jobs lost on your watch?

The devalued stock market?

Or maybe the massive budget defecits created by your tax cuts?

Yes indeed George, let's talk about the economy. }(
