Medicaid Community Attendant Services and Supports Act
Don't know how much you all know about this. Two of my friends went to the demonstration supporting it which lasted a week here in Washington, D.C. The basis of the Act is that if you are disabled in your home you can get assistance without having to give up your home and going into a Nursing Home.

Sounds reasonable, right?

Well then, why is this stalled in Congress?

People in wheelchairs blanketed the city this week, yet there was nothing on the news except a brief mention on CNN. The Washington Post was strangely silent.

Kerry has already written a letter saying he supports the Act.
